Isle of Wight Residential Trip 19th - 23rd September

Tuesday

Today we spent the morning at Whippingham Church before travelling on and exploring Osborne House.

After lunch we headed to the Isle of Wight Steam Railway for an informative presentation and steam train ride. The evening was spent at the beach and diary writing.

Wednesday

After a delicious cooked breakfast we set off to Amazon World and enjoyed watching the RedPandas being fed, feeding the wallabies and learning about the animals of the rainforest. After lunch we headed to a glass blowing demonstration at Alum Bay and visited the sand shop. Then back for time on the beach and a visit from a local story teller.

This morning we went by coach to Carisbrooke Castle. We had a lovely morning exploring the castle and learning about it's history. After lunch and running around the East Bastion. We headed to Shanklin Chine, then walked back to Sandown along the Esplanade. Then back to the hotel for dinner and the disco.
